We NCSFA members have a great opportunity for getting our art viewed in San Diego: in November the Escondido Municipal Gallery hosts the popular Art Riot. Then December offers the best month for general public traffic through the Center for Performing Arts venue.

Inland Painters Group - Plein Air Paintings of San Diego North County
September 9 - October 6, 2018
Reception September 8th, 5:30 to 8 pm

This show includes artworks in oil, watercolor, and pastel...all reflecting the beauty of San Diego North County.  The group meets every Wednesday to paint en Plein Air at a different location, ranging from Fallbrook to Penasquitos.  Information on the group can be found on Facebook, and anyone who loves to paint outdoors is welcome to join and participate.

Members of NCSFA were Invited to Participate Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church Exhibit August 24- October 18th. The Theme is " Rivers of Living Water" from the Bible. "From the Believers Will Flow Living Water". Sharon Ford, Janet Perkin, Carol Mansfield, Vita Sorrentino and Kathryn Peterson are just some of the members,to name just a few, that have their artwork displayed at this gallery. NCSFA Members and Scholarship Winners, RB Library Exhibiting Artists One-Day Art Show and Reception with Music
Our April one- day art show and reception was a resounding success. Iit included over 50 artworks and a performance by vocalist Emily Peterson with pianist Anna Dunford at the Rancho Bernardo Library.
This event was held by the library in appreciation for all of the local artists who have shared their personal art work at the Rancho Bernardo Library, celebrating local art and our scholarship artists

Vocalist, Emily Peterson, first place winner of southern California's Classical Singer competition, and ranked third, nationally, for the American Prize Schorr Award, and numerous local awards, sang at the event, accompanied by Anna Dunford on the piano.

First Sunday, 12:00-2:00pm. Coffee and Conversation with OMA Artist Alliance at Oceanside Museum of Art, 704 Pier View Way, 92054. OMA is inviting the NCSFA

"First Sunday Coffee and Conversation" is a monthly event free for all artists and creatives. It's a chance to get together at the museum for casual mingling and networking over drinks and snacks. Our goal is to encourage artists to keep up with what's going on in the North County/greater San Diego arts community and to learn about arts organizations and other resources. No reservations are necessary.

It's also an opportunity to check out the museum and see what we have going on - all for free!

San Diego Watercolor Society, SDWS Gallery, NTC Promenade, 2825 Dewey Road, #105, monthly member shows have a reception the first Friday of each month from 5:30 to 8 pm. Marianne Elam, Karen Vincent, Cheryl Boeller, Lori Chase, Pat Dispenziere, Carol Mansfield, Joyce Nash, Janet Perkin, Kathryn Peterson and Vita Sorrentino are members and regularly show there.
